Important Information: School Parking Consultation

Derby City Council are currently consulting on changes to access and parking on the roads around school. It is important all our families and staff have the opportunity to share thoughts on parking and the impact the proposed changes would have on the community. A letter with additional information can be found here. You can also find out more information and complete a survey with your views using the following link.

The Great Ridgeway Hike!

School Fundraising

Inspired by Mrs Patel's hike to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro in December, The children of Ridgeway have completed our own fundraising challenge!

Clambering over rocky benches, trekking though the swampland at the bottom of the field, through the grasslands past the wildlife area and over the very treacherous hill, where a mud slide might have occurred at any moment, the brave Ridgeway children journeyed on . Thank goodness for our cheer-leading team and our parents/carers who were there to support us when the going got tough.

Mrs Patel hiked 5,895m up Mt Kilimanjaro. When we added up how far every child had walked, we were amazed to discover that the Ridgeway children had hiked 119,500m - which is the same as hiking up Mt Kilimanjaro over 20 times!

Well done to everyone!
